Kieu started Chasing Wang in 2010 as a food and lifestyle blog. What began as a way to share her daily rambles and dessert photos turned into an online cake business. It led to a French pastry arts scholarship and mentorship from the Chef’s Move program, founded by Chef John Besh and Jessica Bride.
New Orleans born and raised, Kieu left home and moved to New York city in 2013 to train at the International Culinary Center. She graduated at the top of her class, while working at a Michelin-starred restaurant and training with a prominent New York cake designer.
During her time away, she traveled the south of France, where she absorbed their rich food culture and craft for high quality pastries and bakeries. She is back in New Orleans, ready to share her passion and knowledge with the city she calls home.
